Mercedes Benz On Track 2004 Pics *56K Beware tons of pics*
Met up with my cousins and friend... took the E55 to the event

Got to the track.. saw a few brand spanking new MBs waiting to be abused.
The Parking lot.
There were two courses, 1 was a fast paced 2.2 mile track, the other was a casual 70mph instructional ~2 mile track..
first up was the fast paced course..

Updated interior on the C - Class.. very very nice touch.. the C230K was the car of choise on the track.. suspension was wow.

had a break for one hour, had brunch.. back to the tracks..
next up was the casual instructional course..
the cars of choice were 4 E - Classes, 1 CLK and 1 C230K Sport Sedan

Next Up was the Hot Laps.. the event everyone was waiting for.. Each person gets to ride shotgun with a profession race car driver in one car of choice.. time only permited for one ride..

Nothing turns me on like a hot *** female instructor constantly telling you "Push it harder.. Speed up!!... " 
When I got my chance for my hotlap in the E55, It was an eye opener.. doing drifts at 70+ mph.. it was alot of fun.. alot of people underestimate MBs and their capabilities.. it was funny.. he was pushing it so hard.. the computers was throwing all sorts of warnings at him.. I have to say it was the best event of the day.. really worth it.
I guess all good things come to an end eventually..
on the way out we saw a nice GT2 pull into the track.
On the way home
Overall this event was worth it, Gave us an insight on how under-estimated the MBs are in their sporting capabilities... the cars are really a wolf in sheeps clothing. I would definately recommend this event to every non MB believer.. it will make 'em a new person.

Awesome pics! Wish I could've been there, VIR is a track I'm waiting to try.
