So Tommy, are you coming to Yosemite for the NY/NJ/CT/PA meet? Bring chains in case of snow.

They are working on it this week. Should have a test pulley next week. It took me a while to get measurements on different brands of pullies. After looking at a lot of pulleys, one that impressed in quality is the Vaeth. They take a factory pulley and weld a ring on it. It preserves the damper from the stock pulley. That may seem ugly but they weld the seam with perfection and then make it smooth like the gap was never there, balance and then black anodize it. I'll post pics of it when I get home late tonight. It's a pain to order as you have to do a wire transfer to Germany and all the international calls. After talking to many people in the pulley business I have found nobody but Kleemann and it's dealers that believe that a solid, no damper crankshaft pulley is good. E-mail me if you want to test one?

The Delaware Water Gap is a Great Drive. You can get there by highway then drive through the Watergap recreation area on the old mining road (reasonably well paved and a fun ride) End the day in Stanhop NJ at the Black Forest Inn (good food medium price) or in Pensylvania at Zum Jagerhaus (an authentic and inexpensive joint) Another highlight of the ride can be that you drive through the highest an nicest areas of NJ.

Yes, lemons, oranges, avocados, and everything else we grow to feed the US. You guys would be hungry without us.

My favorite pizza joint in the world is still the one by the Sheepshead Bay subway station. Still good but you have to order in Russian.

But Buellie,
You need to be in NY to buy it. I'll stick to eatting pizza outside in the warm and sunny winter days. That cold might make the Pizza taste a bit better, but does nothing one's tan. (OK, it talked more like a LA native, as opposed to a Bay Area native, but, I can borrow some sunshine from down south for this post).
Think we could possiblely control ourselves to give these Mid-atlantic c230 owners their thread back...naw!

All of them, as much as I can...
So when and where is this gig again????
I just finished reading this thread and I'm exhausted and hungry. So if I get this right, It's noonish somewhere in Bear Mtn., and New York Bagels will be flown in from SF and somebody's bringing Pizza from Sheepshead Bay?
Can someone clear this up for me? I really would like to go.

OK, date is set
Drumroll, please...
It's going to be June 1st at Bear Mtn.
If possible, we might arrange another meet on June 29th, somewhere along the PA/NJ border area as well.
I'll post more stuff about the meet as I learn it. Looking forward to meeting most of you.

I was hoping to drive the CLK55 but...
I'm UPsoluting my E430 and JohnA of Upsolute will meet me there to burn the chip. We are downloading the original data this weekend and he has to send it to Austria and wait for the remap. It should be back next week, in time for the gtg. It will save me another trip and I'm sure John can and will be happy to discuss chip tuning with the group. I hope we can get access to 110V power there...or maybe someone has a good inverter?

I guess I can load a bigger cooler now

If you still want to come to the Bear Mtn. gtg, but haven't posted that at Benzsport, please go there now and do it. They're trying to get a final tally.
Thanks, and see ya there.
