Blackhwak Museum Tour: SLK Group
Join us on our special docent led tour of Ken Behring’s world famous automobile collection. We will start our meet Saturday, July 24th 10:30 AM in the parking lot of the Livermore Public Library, 1052 S. Livermore Avenue, in Livermore. This is just south of I-580 in the East Bay. The new city library has great coffee and a big parking lot. Get a cup of coffee at the Library Café, meet other SLK owners, and then travel with us on the back roads to the Blackhawk Museum for a singular tour. You can go on line to view this extraordinary setting at www.blackhawkauto.org.
There is a small cost for the tour ($8). Your coffee or lunch is optional. This is a fun meeting with other SLK owners who drive this great car. We share information, driving tips, and anything else that improves and expands our mutual fun driving this fantastic car. About 11:15, we’ll drive together over some back roads with a twist or two, ending in Blackhawk for lunch (optional). Come clean for photos because our cars will be parked “front and center” in the museum’s graceful Plaza.
