The last AMG photo shoot we had was back in May '03. Everyone who attended told me they had a great time and wanted to do it again soon! We had about a dozen cars attend and most ended up spending the whole day with the photo shoot, drive, the shop tour and german dinner.

Anybody got the itch to have another one? At this point, I am thinking late September / early October, but am somewhat flexible as well.

What kind of interest is there for another AMG get together? Is 30-40 cars a possibility?

Definitely IN, as always. Had a great time last year and met some awesome folks with some killer rides. The looks we got cruisin' through N. Ga. were priceless. Them folk are used to seein' yer odd pack of Harleys or crotch rockets, but high performance MBs, not hardly.

I don't have an AMG but I'll be back at school and you can definitely count on me being there. Maybe I can convince my friend that would be a perfect time to take his SLK to Donnie's shop and get that Kompressor he has been saving up for.

I will be in Atlanta, Georgia sept. 18th and 19th for the Nopi Nationals... the C32R is going into the Nitto booth for display!!! Count me in!!!

October 16/17 is the only weekend I won't be in Atlanta I think. So late september, early october would be perfect for me.

Details are still coming together as well as ideas for the event. Perhaps after the photo shoot we will have a dyno day mixed in with a visit to a biergarten afterward. Maybe some other activities can be planned too as we are still in the early stages of organization

Chappy, just a thought, Petit Lemans is at Road Atlanta that weekend of Sept 25th. Maybe take the AMG group out there? I have a contact there if you want her to tell you more.

You're at Tech now aren't you? Or will be on the 25th. Assuming nothing comes up(knock on wood) I'll be going. I can give you a ride.

I'm not getting much positive feedback about going to the race that day. When the 25th was selected, the Petit Lemans was the last thing on my mind.....(it's normally held in October!) Unless someone really wants to push on getting ourselves situated at the Petit Lemans, I recommend we stay put with our own plans.

My main concern is participation. So, the 25th it is.....
