Agreed. No matter what, someone isn't going to like the location. I'd like to see it at the beach, not too far south. PCH is a great cruise, but unless it's in San Diego, I'm there.

No need to be sorry at all. I'm glad people are speaking their opinion. Gives us a greater feedback so we can make this an overall more pleasant experience for everyone. As we plan more and more meets I can only hope that people see that we are really trying to make this a gathering of true, hardcore, enthusiasts ' meet. Where young and old can come togher and enjoy time together with our beautiful machines.

I'm am sincerely sorry for being MIA these past couple days. I had some business to attend to over the weekend. As for the dates and location it will be finalized the first week of january. Sorry again for the lack of information. For the time I was thinkin that we could possibly meet at around 1-2. We can talk, take pics, and jus discuss cars until we decide to go for a drive, or go eat.

I brought up the idea of takin the meet a lil more south only because of our san diego enthusiasts. They had to drive all the way up to the Rose bowl. I thought it would be better this time around if we would help lighten the load and possibly meet them halfway. To be honest, the Rose Bowl would be an awesome place to meet again only because there is so much parkin available and no one can miss it. Then again it that "place" can be anywhere. The Rose bowl to my knowledge wouldn't be a too dreadful of a ride for our Ventura enthusiasts but it would take away from our SD group. Maybe we should have it at the Rose Bowl again and do another one later on later down south.

I honestly do not care for where we meet. I just want a place that most of the people can agree on so we can all go and meet. I love coming together and meeting up with other fellow mb (AMG) enthusiasts. In the end it will be up to you the majority...

I concur. I'll come to the one farther down south. No need for me to drive up to the Rosebowl considering that I don't even have an AMG. Are you guys going to come to the Socal GTG in Anaheim? I'll be there.

Are there any set dates, times and location yet? My car is out of the shop and ready to go.

I will have the final date posted on January 6th. As for the location it seems like it might have to be the Rose Bowl again this time.

Well it is the 9th now and still nothing has been done. I really want this meet to happen because it will be my first meet for MB. I know the weather has been a little crazy lately, but I would still like to have a set time and date. The driving distance isn't really an issue for me, so where ever is fine with me.
Please end this thread and set a date.

Ladies and Gents, I am terribly sorry but I was away due to some personal health issues. Please excuse my absence. The date has been set along with the time:

SOCAL AMG Meet.

Date: Febuary 6th
Time: 3:00 P.M.
Place: Rose Bowl Parking lot K

As for what we will be doing.
1. Talk amongst our fellow enthusiats about each other's rides and take pics.
2. I was thinking of going for a nice drive. This is totally optional. I was thinking we can either go for a drive or we can just chill and take pics until people begin to get hungry. Then we can go eat at a destination that the group chooses.

I would greatly appreciate the groups opinion on what they would want to eat as far as going for a drive ( if you guys want) or places to eat. Once again my most sincerest apologies for my absence and I look foward to seeying many of you.

Glad to hear you are doing better. The date sounds fine for me, but if it is the SuperBowl that could be a problem for many. Many people spend that time with friends and family at BBQ's.
Can some check the date?

Hello again,
I just confirmed at http://www.superbowl.com/ that this is indeed both the date and time of the Superbowl. Are you sure this is the date you want to chose?

I am not familiar with the area at all so anywhere we eat is fine with us but Saturday definately works better for us. We have already committed to going to a Superbpwl party 2/6.
