This is an off topic question. I'll be moving to Seattle in June. Does Washington state require you to run a front license plate?

I'm in Seattle area and thinking about setting a GTG with other members in the area. Let me know if you arrange anything.

Yes, you are required to have front mounted license plates. BUT...., I only have one mounted and have never had problems. In addition, I've seen alot of people in general withouth front plates.

WA Meet

I would be interested, but my cars are in storage for the winter. Anything planned for the spring or summer?

Do you have any other cars on the road? You dont need to bring your euro car to this event, everyone is welcome to join us, even if your cars are in storage.

Maybe you can bum a ride off of someone?

There will be other events planned in the future as well. Hope to see you at some of them...

You need front license plate by law but I just keep it with me. If I feel like I am going to get pulled over, I throw it up in the windshield with the canned excuse "it fell off the front and I need a new bracket"

We need our own Seattle Forum

SO do you guys have a good custom shop in the area? I'd like to get a few Body mods and not sure who i should be going to. My SA suggested Metro Auto Rebuild....? Amoung other things i'd like to get the holes plugged and painted where the dealer had orig installed the license frame. I don't ever intend to put a plate on.

A good body shop in the Bellevue area is Bellevue Auto Rebuild on 130th Ave. 425-453-2901. They did great work on my car when I was rearended.

Ya i just ran across the Car Nutz website..., never heard of it before. Anyone else have any experience with them?

On a seperate note... you guys know of any WA State MB forums? Or maybe how we can start one? It would be nice to actually have local chats about local meets and such. If there are enough of us maybe we can actually get STEVE of MbenzNL to come up here and do some mods.

I have been to Seattle for some mods before (1.5 years ago I think)...you don't need that many people to make a trip worthwhile (considering that I would be flying in from california)...
