Not sure in the winter, but the Vdub crew is obsessive, and will usually show rain, snow, hail, or hell. More then the turn out I was impressed by the fun approach and respect these guys have. I posted one of three MBs on their forum and received a lot of praise. Not a single disrespectful comment. Benzino's has gone to these before.

used mapquest directions to find the plaza, but the location has changed slightly. Here is directions from the GTG organizer

sfenwick**:well normally you turn left just past the diner which is mid pike plaza

sfenwick**: instead of turning left go straight to the next light and that should be the intersection of 355 and Montrose/Randolph

sfenwick**: just throught the light on the right hand side there is a shopping center with a starbucks, Barnes & Noble and Sports Auth.

sfenwick**: turn right into the the parking lot and go to the bottom of the lot. At the bottom of the lot you will have to go right or left, you will need to make a left and you will see the entrance to the garage on the right side. We will be on the 2nd level.

I only discovered this forum a month ago and am definitely addicted to it. Besides the great info and opinion exchanges in the threads, it's also great to be able to meet fellow fanatics like at the event last night. I heard that it's every other Wednesday. I hope to come to at least every other meet.

Thank you for the comps on the car. Everyone I met was very cool and relaxed. It was nice to see the VW's too - but I think the entire stable of Benzes that showed did some proper representin' of the marque.


Nukblazi - bet's $100.00 on your ride.

EKaru - Black is beauuuutiful (girlfriend could't beleive you offered to let her sit in it!)

Bensitto - your ride is tight - mini MAC would be over the top.

Mark (Spruce Benz) - I'd pay by the hour for lessons on detailing from you. Your car looks factory fresh and those fender flares are siiick.

I suck at names but I also talked to three other guys who were very cool.

0-60 the R32 got me by about 1.5 lengths then I was albe to hold that gap to 80ish then reel him in by 120... :v
