extended warranty price check.
I was quoted for additional 2 years w/unlimited for $2495.
is it good price for bluetec or should i ask them more discount?

I called Erin and she quoted me $1940 as well on the 2yr extension on a CPO. My dealer had it for $2495 as well. They said they couldn't discount the warranty (which obviously isn't true since Erin and other dealers do). However, they gave me an alternate option, which worked out to be cheaper for me:

The dealer "bought down" my interest rate with MBFS from 1.74% to 0.74% (the rate was 1.99%, but if you setup to autopay each month, they reduce it another 0.25%). So basically, the warranty was $2495 + 6.5% tax ($162.18)....totaling $2657.18. Them paying to buy down the rate reduced my cost with tax to around $1500.

I think Erin does not charge tax either. Must be a state to state thing. My dealer matched at $1900 and no tax so I just got it there.

Regardless, $1900 is a great deal IMO for the additional 2 yrs...especially with the unlimited mileage deal going on right now.

I just got hold of Erin and she confirmed that it is $1945 for additional 2 years and i'm waiting on from my dealer to see if they can beat or match it.

$27K for 48 months Platinum $13k for Gold 36 months

'07 CLS550 with 73K miles. WTF Can anyone help?
