Hello,

I am very familiar with the named component 2-year CPO extension limited warranty with unlimited miles offered on the E class. In Florida, it is a file rate state meaning they cannot discount or markup the warranty list price. They offer it for $2,495 plus tax.

Anyone know any dealers in other states that will offer it for less than list price? Please reply with contact info of a finance manager, etc.

Hey all... after going through this thread I contacted Jeff Jackson at Tafael motors for extended warranty on my 2014 c300 Sport 4matic with 25k miles currently. These are the numbers i received.

6/75 $1490
7/75 $1813
7/100 $2888

Has anyone got any better deals on similar cars from other dealers.. Which other dealers should i contact and get a quote.

Just sent out emails to Jeff Jackson, Marc Rose and Erin Mahre. Jeff responded back very quickly, but I am not impressed with his price. I have a 2014 S550 CPO with 22,200 miles. That CPO gave me 5 years and I wanted to extend it to 7 yrs (2 more years beyond the additional 1 year CPO for a total of 3 years ELW past the factory).


My dealer gave me a price of $4,700 and Jeff's price was $3,900, so $800 difference isn't really that great of a price, very disappointing. With all of the hoopla on here about Jeff, I was expecting a better deal than that. I know there is probably a sales tax difference and the 15% markup price with my dealer.

I have a 2013 E350 with 65k miles. My cpo ends Nov 29, 2017. She was able to extended it for another 2 years unlimited for $2006. Good deal IMO.

thats weird. Yeah I googled her name "Erin Mahre" and she comes up as an employee at Santa Rosa. She even called me back from the dealership number.

I figured out the mystery! Smothers European owns several dealerships and Santa Rosa Benz is one of them. Maybe her email has changed, but I will call her.

Man I appreciate this information. I'm in the same boat with a 2012 E350 Diesel coming due early December. I've reached out to my local dealer, the dealer I bought from, and a few other suggested on this forum.

Below are the quotes received so far for 2 year unlimited mile extensions.

Kansas City, MO - $3300
Hagerstown, VA - $2694
Elmbrook, WI - $2145 (no sales tax out of state)

Based on my experience over the last 12 months, the $2145 is a steal of a deal for that kind of peace of mind in a beast of a car. If Erin can beat Elmbrook I will probably stop my search. I've given Kansas City another chance at a better quote. Will update with new information.

In working with Jamie in Elmbrook I've learned the MSRP for the 2-year warranty is $2495. Surprises me to get quotes over MSRP from KC and VA.

Give Erin a call. She was able to beat Elmbrook by $80 for me. $2090 vs $2006 OTD. Especially seeing how this was so last min for me and my warranty is right about to expire. Good deal.

Total amount charged to my credit card was $2006.75. I even verified this with my bank. It's truly out the door price.

I called Erin on the number you gave me and it is indeed her cell phone. The number I have is her office phone and she said it was valid as well in addition to her email that I had. I had to wait until noon my time to call her since I live in Florida and she is in California.


Erin was very nice, but she won't be back in the office until Saturday and she didn't recall what the price would be, so I'll find out Saturday!


Found out that this guy Dan Boone no longer works at the dealership provided on this forum previously, so everyone can disregard him. The guy that took over Dan's job gave me a price of $4,500 ... REALLY? I said ok thanked him and removed him from my potential list.


Once I get a price from Erin, I will post how good of a deal she gave me on here.

Just an update. New warranty updated this morning on my Mercedes Me page. Everything is in good order. Erin over at Santa Rosa Benz was very prompt.

I also spoke to Erin on the phone and her prices were a lot higher than Jeff's (by about $1000). I told her that I was shopping around for prices and she was not happy that I wouldn't move forward with her because Jeff's is way better. Then she completely cut me off and ended the call. Absolutely RUDE! Not the kind of customer service you'd expect.
