Extended Warranty, Yes or No?
I purchased my 2017 E300 in July 2016. It has been driven less than 23,000 miles and I am planning to keep it until the next major body style change. The warranty expires in about 6 weeks.
I have not spoken to my dealer yet about extending the warranty and have no idea of what it will cost, but know it is not inexpensive,
Any thoughts or recommendations? Any idea of cost for a 3-year 7/75,000?
(I originally posted this question on the W213 forum as I was not aware this forum existed. Someone who responded there told me about this forum.)

I live in Florida and by Florida law every dealer charges the same price for warranties. I read the legal explanation, but can not understand why.
My dealer said the cost for the 7/75,000 warranty (a 3-year extension beyond the original factory warranty) is $3100.
I decided not to purchase an extended warranty. We are hardly driving our cars due to the coronavirus, so I felt I was willing to risk spending up to $3100 on repairs vs. purchasing an extended warranty.

Take $3k.
by some Apple stock or something
When you need repairs... sell the stock and pay for it.
If you do not have to cover it.. then car sell car.
Now others feel having the EXT warranty is better...
all I know is they have to make money and you are gambling on your car is a POS in a few years....
Tough call; I mean all I read and all MB says is they are the best or nothing...
