What should the warranty price be?
I have a GLE450 bought new in 2020. Roughly 30,000 miles on it. I asked a couple dealers for a quote to go to 7 years 100,000 miles FOR THE OFFICIAL MB WARRANTY.
My local dealer quoted me $6000.
The dealer mentioned here was better by over $2000. That hardly seems possible.
What have others paid?

its quite possible that another dealer offered a 2,000 discount. In Oct 2022 I bought a 3 year 100k MB extended warranty for my wife's 2019 c300..bought it from Rafael Dianov of Mercredes Benz of Elmbrook
You need not buy the extended warranty from your local dealer...they are honored nation wide
here is the story.
Rafael quoted me the price and answered all my questions. And his
OTD price for a 3 year 100k extended warranty for my wife's 2019 c300 was over $1500 less than my local MB dealer's.
It was an absolute pleasure to do business with him.

7 years and 100,000 miles is from the in-service date so in your case you are paying $6000, for 4 years and 70,000 miles
For the same price, I would rather go with Fidelity and get their platinum plan for another 6-7 years and 100,000 miles

It would be for 3 more years and 50,000 more miles. The original was 4/50.
I ended up getting it for $3550. Great price. Great guy to work with.
I would never buy an aftermarket warranty. I was in the F&I business years ago. They aren't worth the paper they're printed on. They deny everything.
