FS/FT - w211 OEM Euro Convex Mirrors

I bought the mirrors off Steve, most w211 e55 board members know him.

I'm giving the car to the wifey and she's not a fan of the mirrors.

I am asking $200 (obo) AND your stock mirrors. I must get your stock mirrors in the deal b/c I tossed my stockies when I bought these. I paid $350, FYI. They are like new.

NOTE - this trade is for the glass mirror only, not the entire assembly. The glass is held in place by a clip and is easily removable and replacable.

They are a pain when you are trying to put on make-up.

You might want to explain how the trade is supposed to happen. Who is going to make due with NO mirrors while working this trade. Who ships first? Etc. GL

^Thx, good point. Since the buyer's mirrors will be part of the payment, the buyer will need to ship the money, if applicable, and their mirrors, first. I am open to discuss using prompt shipping methods with serious buyers.

You do realize that for all intensive purposes the US passenger is the same as the EURO version with the minor exception of the NO blind spot setup and the inclusion of the DOT warning engraving.

Huh? The euro mirror is convex (as you put it, the "blind spot setup") along the outer portion of the glass. While the US mirror is flat.

Is this what you are saying is the only difference? If so, yes, I realize that. But isn't the convex feature the reason why people (myself included) buy the euro version? Having the blind spot covered in the same piece of glass is must, IMO. No ugly stick on mirrors, etc.

As previously stated: for all intensive purposes with the following....

Both EURO and US passenger mirrors show a roughly 1 to 1 view. The drivers side is where they really deviate.

Maybe my car is different, but I have a different experience. My stock mirrors were your normal flat mirrors. These euro convex mirrors have a dotted line on both the driver's and passenger's side mirrors. To the outside of the dotted vertical line, the glass becomes convex, thus showing a much wider angle reflection. On my mirrors, there is no difference b/w the driver's side and the passenger's side, in this regard. The distinct advantage with these mirrors should be obvious, but if not, I can send pics to any serious buyers.
