I've done a market check in my state (Texas) and have seen anywhere from MSRP to MSRP+$15K-$25K ADM. On the one hand, I'm worried about typical EV depreciation. However, MB does seem to be limiting G580 supply, so perhaps that will mitigate some of the potential depreciation. (Each dealership I've spoken to does not expect to receive more than one G580/month. Most are expecting less than 10 for the 2025 model year.)
Paying a markup on *any* EV is idiotic. The powertrain loses power as the batteries age (i.e., battery capacity). My ICE AMG's can technically last forever (or as long as we can keep pumping dino juice out of the ground).

As in my previous posts, dealers in the tri-state area have a lot of allocations but minimal reservations.
I was calling around local dealerships late last year, the first month or so the g580 were available. They were asking up to $50k over. Last week one of them left me a voicemail saying they are offering at MSRP. Looks like demand is soft.
