I finally drove a new 2002 G500 Last night...
I finally got a a chance to drive one last night.
2002 G500 Burgandy or Beardaux ???? Red with Black Leather.
What can I say....? Nice, very nice.... It seems heavy and a little slow at startup compare to my Range Rover and my CLK. But expected from a G500. But, what a smooth and quiet ride, as well as very comfortable in those heated seats.
Dash is a little simple with no Km/Hr (only MPH ) in the speedometer unlike all other M-B. But it does has digital Speedometer as well in the center.
I don't care much for the Rear Spare Wheel cover with the Metal Rim Cover, it looks cheesy.
I can't wait till I get my Brilliant Silver in Feb 2002.
Seriously considered taking delivery of this Red one now, but will pass up.
They still have it on sale at list my dealer, if any one interested, let me know...
