Advice on a 2003 G
Dealer has a 2003 G. 41000 miles. Looks to be in good shape. He was very honest and pulled a Netstar inquiry for me. The car had some issues.
Should I be worried that all these were done? What does it mean? Do you think all the bugs are out ???. Is this typical for a a G500?
transfer case jolts
propeller shaft transfer case
k/z control unit
converter lockup clutch jolts
gasket cylinder head cover
housing transfer case leaking
hinged rod link torsion bar
homokinetic propeller shaft br all at 37000 miles
propeller shaft transfer case at 34000 miles
blower regulator not operating
blower regulator contact fault at 30460 miles
steering shaft power/hydraulic at 29951 miles
bass not operating (stereo) at 27355 mi
heating pad front seat
electric window lifter not operating
jacket tube module not operating 25000 miles
door control unit right front
switch warning flasher system
sunroof wind deflector
shielding plate exaust system 23000 miles
Servo motor transfer case 19000 miles
TOWED TO DEALER for malfunction of transfer case servo motor at 12000 miles
Should I avoid a unit that has had all these problems or is this typical.
The warranty is up.
I appreciate any and all advice.

I wouldn't consider that one. That list tells me that is one of the cars to avoid. My 02 I sold had 41k miles and I had 3 or 4 minor issues since new. QA budy of mine got an 02 a few weeks after mine and it has been in the shop for probably 30 different issues and although fixed, now he says the door panel has been off so many times it is cracked on top from them pulling it off and other pieces like that are loose and cracked from being tightend down too hard from being on and off so many times. Good ones are out there, keep looking and get the 100k extended warranty if you buy at a benz dealer.

I asked this question on another forum and got the same answers. Very disappointing as all the cars I have looked at so far have issues.

w463 transfer case
I do have a problem with differential lock not switching off: on differential lock switch (s76) red light on central button and message on speedometer cluster 'abs not active,lock active, differential lock.
