The 5liter V8 is a historic engine that can go far beyond 200,000 miles so long as servicing is maintained at the suggested intervals.
The 02s and 03s both can play up with niggly electical faults but never anything major and my car has been fine except for a sticking passenger window which was fixed under warranty.
My black/black 02 G500 has 48,000 miles and i'm in the process of selling it. Ful cash sale only, however. I live in Hollywood.
One final thing pertaining to the other thread you started- I left the car stock in the name of taste. 23's are for Tahoes ,imo.

My G has 44,800 miles (previously thought it was 48,000). My ex is still driving it around but saw her Sunday and I checked the odometer and got a pleasent surprise.

That's the fabric on the inside roof of the car. On the 2002 it's not fabric, it's just a hard plastic-like coating. In 2003 they added fabric with some padding to help make the vehicle more quiet and improve the look. In 2004 (I believe) they added curtain airbags in addition to the front airbags. Each year there have been some improvements, the largest number coming in the 2007 model year where both exterior and interior upgrades along with mechanical have been added.
