But it wasn't too bad, since I didn't have to pay gas guzzler and luxury tax. Plus it only had 431 miles on it and never been titled. It turned out only couple of thousand over everything.
I still have the 04 CLK500 Cabriolet on order. I am still no. 1 on their waiting list, since I placed the order in April of 2001. I will wait and see what happens. My wife still wants 4 seater convertible.
I should be able to sell the CLK Cab for a premium if I don't want it. I was told they are going to make very limited amount of CLK Cabs.

I must say, that is quite sweet. You couldn't find an SL 55? Not interested in one? Not to say your SL500 is bad, but just curious...

Just make sure you don't let the G and SL get too close... I heard that that's how the M class was born...

You live in VA correct? How are you loving the beloved 4.5% car tax?
I am so glad I moved to Florida.. Paying 4.5% tax on a vehicle I own outright, every year, only adds insult to injury!
$4,500 per year for a $100,000 vehicle. EVEN if you paid cash!!
