But it wasn't too bad, since I didn't have to pay gas guzzler and luxury tax. Plus it only had 431 miles on it and never been titled. It turned out only couple of thousand over everything.
I still have the 04 CLK500 Cabriolet on order. I am still no. 1 on their waiting list, since I placed the order in April of 2001. I will wait and see what happens. My wife still wants 4 seater convertible.
I should be able to sell the CLK Cab for a premium if I don't want it. I was told they are going to make very limited amount of CLK Cabs.

You live in VA correct? How are you loving the beloved 4.5% car tax?
I am so glad I moved to Florida.. Paying 4.5% tax on a vehicle I own outright, every year, only adds insult to injury!
$4,500 per year for a $100,000 vehicle. EVEN if you paid cash!!
