Got my VIN number and Confirmation for Production Today
I just got my confirmation of my production date with Codes and VIN number.
Production Date: 01/29/02 (3 more weeks, can't wait).

Congrats Reza! Mine is supposed to arrive in LA tomorrow, but there is some confusion about the VIN. From my understanding of VINs, the 10th digit signifies the model year. For example, a "2" stands for 2002. All of the G500's I've seen listed on for sale on the Internet that are 2002 models have a "2" as their 10th digit. On all the documents that my dealer has, it lists the 10th digit as a "1" which signifies a 2001 model year car. Very strange. Can you check yours and tell me whether the 10th digit is a "1" or a "two"?

I checked mine and it is a ...
2 ... but I am not sure if that represents the year of the car.. my 2000 CLK Cab., the tenth digit is a Y, which actually represent the year (2000) , X for 1999, W for 1998 respectively.
But for 2001 and 2002 it seems like this:
2001 = 1, and for 2002 = 2...
