Towing a G Wagon
I have searched and searched and am forced to ask this dumb question -
We have a large RV and usually tow a vehicle behind us to use when we get to where we're going. Usually tow one of our two jeeps. They have transfer cases and we just have to put the transfer case in neutral and the transmission in park for an auto, or second gear for the manual. We could tow our Suburban (4x4) the same way.
I have read somewhere that no MB vehicle can be towed 4 down (all four wheels on the ground) but it would seem that since the G Wagon has a transfer case, that it may be able to be towed without modification.
Does anyone have the final answer on that?
