Congrats! 
The price on the 08's is very tempting. If it were $20k off a new 09 ... I would be ordering today!!!
I am hoping/holding out that the 09's get slashed once the majority of Dealers have the 08's off their lots ... if not, then hoping that the Certified market on the 09's is super weak
I really want to buy a G550 (or low mileage G55K), but this economy/deflation makes waiting worth while.

bixenon headlights
upgraded command
upgraded stereo
upgraded seating- multicoutour may have been an option in 03 but not mine.
back up camera
new instrumentation
ride is softer
steering is easier
heated windshield
heated steering wheel
different wheels
minor things like aluminum pedals...
there may be a few more

I have never been in a s550. It's a bench seat with ample leg room for us. They are heated. Head room is not an issue in the G but for 2 really, really tall people on the same side front and rear there may be a leg room issue. I imagine not as plush as the s550. I don't have pics of the interior and work schedule won't allow me to take any for a couple days.

That's good news ... discounts are getting close 
Add that info to the fact MBUSA had a bad March (sold 44 G's ... 141 YTD)
P.S. I still have not seen an '09 G ... every year before this, I would have seen a dozen on the streets of NYC

Is there a major difference between the G class from the new 09 and older models. I see they seem to all look the same. Besides the navigation, electronics. I guess the performance are all the same?
