Change cassetteplayer in g-wagen

Change cassetteplayer in g-wagen
Hi!
I currently have a gwagen g300td '98 (w463) with an original cassetteplayer and original cdchanger.
Does anyone know if (for example) a Pioneer- or a blaupunktplayer would be able to "communicate" with the cdchanger? Do I have to either buy original and forget about usb/mp3, or buy unoriginal and forget about the cdchanger? Best case is a new player that can communicate with the changer under the seat.
