G320?
I saw a G320 with California dealer plates on the freeway this morning in Glendale, California. I just saw G320 on the left side; it did not say CDI on the other side. It did not look old and the color looked like a current dark silver metallic.
Are we getting a G320 for the US at some point?

i also like the 320. it was a 2 door, right?
if you look at the prices, a person is much better off finding an 05/06 full size.
the 320 must have been imported at a huge mark-up and the emmisions changed...

Europa International brought in a few of the I-6 G320's - mostly long wheelbase, but a few short wheelbases, too. There were also some V6 G320's brought in by other importers - some of questionable Federalization.
As to the one you saw looking new, they've had the same body design since 1979. It's hard to tell the model year, unless you know what you're looking at.
As to the G320CDI or G3500CDI, Stuttgart wanted to sell them in the USA; but MBUSA said absolutely not. End of discussion. This attitude is one the the reasons I'm getting ready to change marques after 37 yrs behind a star; and 25 yrs in a Gwagen on July 31st,

No ... because the G320 will not exist in a couple months.
Someone posted on another website that:
"The model nomenclature for the G320 CDI will be changed from September 2009. The existing model variant codes will continue to apply. The model nomenclature for the G500 and G55 AMG will remain unchanged.

That post was for the European market ... but 'if' the US ever gets them, they will be G350's
