Saw my first G500 today
On my way to work this morning, I saw a new 2002 G500 on a car transporter. This was on California's 60 freeway, westbound. Looks pretty good!

Is there going to be such a thing? I haven't heard anything about it. That seems to me like it would be an awkward vehicle. Sort of like if GM made a "Hummer SS" or if Jeep made a "Wrangler R/T"

Interesting pictures. I'm not sure it will make it to the States though. But you never know. Is it just me, or does an extended G-class look strikingly similar to a pre-'92 Ford Econoline full-size van??
