Awesome LED Head Lamps
They are Awesome, more than I'd Hoped for.
they are Bright, and you see more of the Road due to the way the light is dispersed. I used to use my Driving Lamps quite often, but these cast light down and around the front of the truck.. it's a " You have to see it / use them to believe it scenario." in short they are a Great Buy, you cant buy true HID Lamps, ballasts, and mounting for this kind of money. and HID's burn out, Ballast's take a dump regularly.. LED's last 10,000 hrs at minimum... Truly, the Last Head Lamps you will ever buy..

That is a strong endorsement and thanks for the review. I am looking at getting into a G in about a year or so and am doing a fair amount of forum research. If/when I get one this conversion will now be one of the first mods.

Will definitely buy this soon.
BTW the headlamp buckets (
477 941 050A) is that the same one for Porsche? Google search of that part # brings it up and half the cost of the MB one.

Seems like the headlamp bucket (477 941 050A) is an actual Porsche item. I ordered 1 from Ebay for $50 and it fits perfectly with the lights. Still waiting on the 2nd bucket from a Porsche reseller then installation will be on it's way.

low beam

No errors codes and save yourself a lot of money by buying the headlight bucket from any used Porsche store or even Ebay. $70 total for 2 buckets.

I've been advised by a very well respected expert in the field that the Truck-Lites are junk and the Speaker lights are excellent.
