window regulator
replaced the right passenger regulator about 2 weeks ago. Now the rear drivers regulator needs replacing. Only 18000 miles on my 2002 G500. Any thoughts/comments?

Fix it, like you did the front!
These were poorly designed. And 11 years didn't help the plastic and poor design. You will probably replace all of them eventually.
It is a relatively easy DIY.

I guess replacements are better (newly) designed? And motors are fine, but it's the guides that now became two, not one?

Window Regulator
Replaced the second window regulator. It had the same exact problem as the first one. What a poor design and what a shame on Mercedes. Has anyone else had this problem and is Mercedes willing to do anything?

Where did you buy the new regulators? Mine are all broken on my 2002 G500. I've noticed some places sell just the motor, but from what I'm gathering the whole regulator needs to be relpaced.

parts.com is fine.
your dealer may give you a break on the price if you ask or if you are part of the MB Club.
In my case, I bought the regulator without the motor. Motor was fine and didn't need to be replaced.

The problem is not the motor. Rather they were poorly designed. The end of the wire breaks off. I paid around $400 for each online. I have seen them in the $200 range. They are a new design. The are also Mercedes OEM. Good luck!
