AUX Cable for W463 2002+

Hi Folks,

Wanted to share what I found about adding an AUX cable to the stock radio in 2002+ G-wagens.

Just a note that the part number has been updated as follows:

part number A2035406107 has been replaced with A210-440-50-05 CABLE HARNESS.

Everything else is the same.

Thanks for posting this up. I purchased one and installed it this weekend along with a bluetooth device. I now have BT Audio and phone through the stock Comand system. All for under $100.

Hi there,
My G has been in the shop for the last few months, so I am finally getting around to doing this (especially after I discovered the $2100 stereo upgrade)
The Kinivo unit looks great, so I was planning on doing this in the next weekend or so.
Do you have any PICs of your final setup?
I was thinking there might be a way to hide the 12V Adapter, so I can keep the ashtray closed.
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Vinay

As far as I know, B67876131 is a bluetooth puck that only fits into certain model mercedes. I don't have that adapter fitting in my car, (2003 G55), but I used to have that in the center console of my last car (2007 S550).

I cant comment if this is the right unit for your car, however, the installation instructions are found in the url or attached below.

So I ordered A210-440-50-05 as recommended elsewhere from ECS Tuning and when it arrived much to my chagrin that connector doesn't plug and play with the COMAND unit in my brother's 2005 G500. So my question is... is it absolutely necessary to now have to order the special kit and rebuild all the damned leads so they slide into the connector, or can I make it work with what I've got?

Secondarily, I'm also seeing THIS aux cable now for sale in numerous places... if I have to order a whole separate "repair" kit for the crap I already have, I may as well just order one of these. But I noticed it eliminates all the other wires that were in the wire bundle of that connector on the COMAND... so does it even work?.. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F16 2221315544

TIA.

2002 Facelifted and Tech updated

BTW wasn't expensive and this 10.5 screen moves up and down to access switches Also tilts under $300 without CD few bucks more if you need CD player.. By Soundstream... IMO way better than the screen up high like the newer models. Ive sense PICs replaced all the vents & vent trim ...also hand stiched a leather steering wheel.
