water leak

Hi to all, I have a 2000 g500 and when I park it out in the rain on an angel with the left side of the truck lower than the right , the right side drivers foot well gets water in it , I ve checked all the drains and all seem ok, I have removed the carpets and it would seem that the door seals aren`t stopping the water coming in on this slight slope, seems unlikely to me but I am not sure how to test it and what other sources it may be coming from , all help greatly received
Regards Todd

Check the the washer and nut at the base of the windshield wiper arms. 99% of the time, that is the source of the leak in to the footwells and is a relatively common issue. They simply rattle loose over time.

tighten those and use some mild thread lock to stop it from re-loosening.

Good luck!

Hi! Sorry for lifting a super old thread...
I just found out that my recently purchased G55 has a quite major water leak into the passenger side footwell. I found this thread and checked the wiper arms and they are loose (very loose)... So hopefully this is the (only) issue. My question is, how do I access the linkage and the whole mechanism of the wipers? I´m guessing the whole dashboard will have to come out...? Is there any instruction anywhere you can point me to?

Thanks in advance!
