G 500 engine update / facelift in 2015-16? consumption figures?

G 500 update / facelift in 2015-16? consumption figures?
I've been looking at G 500's, and I noticed that the current model must've come around late 2015 here in Europe as there is an early 2015 registered one that is 5.461 cm³ with 285kW and one from 12/2015 that is 3.982 cm³ and 310kW which seems to be the current model.
Aside from the peformance upgrade and smaller engine capacity (and higher efficiency), what are the major differences between the current model and the previous one?
What I noticed from the official specs, the consumption dropped noticeably on the newer version. Does anyone happen to know actual figures for the 310kW model and if they are close to the official numbers?
