Caskieatl,
I've just got similar, if not the same, wheels in satin black and I think the lug bolts they put on are little short although that are saying otherwise.
Did you use the ball seat or conical seat lug bolts for your wheel?
How do you measure the rim thickness and shanks going into hub holes?
Thank you

I used BALL SEAT lug bolts. I measured the lug bolt length first, then stuck a bolt into the hub, and measured the bit sticking through. I then subtracted that number from the original length to get the thickness of the hub at the hole. Check out this post where I have pictures and measurements. Also in that thread is a link to where I bought them. https://mbworld.org/forums/g-class-w...ml#post7175078
Thanks for the info. I've ended up using the conical seat because the bolt holes looked rather like corn shape, tapered angle.
yeah, I think it really depends on what the rim bolt seat arrangement is. Since mine were MB clones they had the ball seat, but other brands may use cone. so long as they seat solid with no wobble, you're ok.
OK, so here's some clarification on the Lug Bolt situation. For my OEM wheels, the original OEM bolts were stripped and cross threaded. When my OEM wheels came off to install the new wheels, the RIM supplier bolts were too short. So, I had to put the old OEM wheels back on until I could get longer bolts that would safely mount the new rims properly. So, I had to buy OEM bolts to re-install the OEM wheels for about a week. UGH.
My local MB dealer service department manager turned me on to EZAccessory where I got new bolts that fit the new rims safely to a proper depth. The OEM Rim thickness is greater than my new rims which are 6mm) so the old OEM bolts were about 10mm too long. The rim supplier bolts were too short for safety.
I've attached a photo of the length of each bolt. The proper bolts are 35mm threaded shank with 29mm going into the hub holes.
I recently purchased those wheels as well for my winter tires. However, the only 35mm ball seat lug bolt currently on the EZAccessory site is a 14mm x 1.50 which has an overall length of 59mm and not 55mm as you indicated in your drawing. Is that the one you purchased or is a 12 x1.50 required? Do you think the 33mm will fit with a 57mm overall length?
