ECU Flash for more HP
Considering getting a W463 soon. More than likely will be picking up a g550.
was looking into getting more HP and found this online.

$1500 for about 140 gain in HP and 200lb-ft increase in torque. Sounds like its worth it to me.
Are these tunes realistic? safe? Anyone have experience tuning their g550 for more HP?

I got a eurocharged tune on my G500, and while obviously not going to have the impacts it would on a turbo motor, it runs better, sounds better, pulls more aggressively in first and second due to the mapping, and has been getting about 1-2 mpg better since. I think I only gained 20 hp and 20 ft lbs but it was worth it, and the flexibility of their tool is very nice, particularly considering the price.

i was on your website but couldn't really find anything specific for a 2013 g550. Can you tell me the exact gains in HP and torque you guys can achieve for a 2013 g550.

Granted, all of this may be different for the newer bi-turbos but I find that, after the flash, the transmission stays in gear much longer while full throttle (into the redline) and that has taken some getting used to. Specifically, at times, I have to shift manually or with the accelerator by letting off a little bit so not to run the RPMs too high.
Other than that, my G is noticeably quicker and sounds phenomenal. The numbers likely went from around 380hp & 380lb-ft to above 400 for both.
