Lighting problems
Posted earlier about my lack of any rear light on m 02 G wagon. Here is a new problem.
Well it turns out the problem is with the rear SAM. Just purchased a new one $700.00 will be here in a few days.
Now I am having trouble with the left head light. ( Question ) is there a fuse for the headlights? I have looked at
all of the fuse locations and see nothing for the headlights.

If it was the fuse or something, wouldn't you have issue with both lights?
Since it's only the left side, it could be the lamp or ballast?
Why don't you swap the lights, then you can narrow down the culprit.

I was having similar electrical problems and just swapped out my rear SAM for another unit and solved all my problems. Check to see if the headlights power runs thru the rear SAM or not. Did you check your front SAM and all fuses in the driver's side fuse box? Chasing electrical bugs on these G500's sure is fun....
