Autoweek Review Article on 2019 G: "Flat Earthers"
Here's an interesting excerpt from Autoweek's review of the 2019 G:
"...After a full drive review, we of Autoweek conclude: those convinced that comfort-oriented changes to the G-Class somehow diminish its off-road cred or capability are extremely obstinate, and also possibly proponents of the flat earth theory..."

Stupid article. All vehicles since past 15-20 years or so could be zapped and bricked by strong EMP
‘You might alternately consider one of the first carbureted G-Wagens, but they’re really hard to find in North America, and spare parts harder still. Better to get yourself a CJ5, pre-1980, or a K5 Blazer. You can invest the windfall in a manageably sized Faraday cage for more important stuff, proper water purification measures and even a conversion to run on home-stilled ethanol. You may not get as many envious looks from the post-Apocalypse hipsters, but you’re more likely to get where you want to go.”
