2019 G63 price?
Hey what’s up guys,so I have a question,I have put a deposit on my 2019 G63 Edition 1 4-5 months ago,so then I went in last week to check the delivery status and the updated price and they told me 175,945 and delivery should be by the end of this month or early December,so They go ahead and tell me that I have to send in an application for an approval so that they can hold the car for me for sure,so I go ahead send in the application and get approved.cool.now today I get an alert that my credit has been pulled by the bank again,so I call the salesman I deal with and he tells me that the car price is now 185,945[10,000 more}then the price they stated before,I then ask him where does the other $10k come from and they tell me the extra $10,000 is the limited availability adjustment fee.so I want to know what price have you guys been quoted for your 2019 G63 edition 1?Can they really just do what they did to me?i reside in Florida Btw.

That means they’re trying to make a quick buck from you. My dealer is selling me the car for MSRP which is the $175k that you mentioned.

It's the dealer realizing that the demand for this car is very high, regretting to agreeing to an msrp sale with you, and adding an ADM after the fact ... not surprising because Florida.
They probably have many people throwing more money at them than that, and they'll probably tell you that to explain their rationale ... they might even tell you they are doing you a favor.
Do you have the original agreed price documented?
(fwiw I got mine at msrp, but I have a long standing relationship with my dealer ... many people are paying over sticker, even for the 550)

Just tell the dealer that you have the agreed price documented and that you're not interested in playing any games.
The first and best approach is always to appeal to their ethics and customer service by reminding them that they they are only as good as their word.
If they persist tell them that if they go back on their word you will make their name and practices well known on dealerrater and all social media with the documentation you have, more importantly tell them that you will contact MB USA directly and that you'll reck them on any MB survey you receive.
If they persist further then you have to decide how much is it worth to you to involve lawyers to see if you have a case, although usually if it gets to that it's just best to just move on and never give them your business again rather than pursue all that negativity for the sake of a car.

Just go to another dealer. This is another example of a price gouging dealership. I don't care how much you like the car. If they are up-charging now at the sale what can you expect later in your service relationship. Run fast and run far. Also put their name on the forum so others can steer clear. Of course, if money is no object, just pay to play. I work too hard for my money to play that game. By the way....don't waste your money taking legal action. You will not prevail. You may have to pass on an edition one but you could throw the saved ten grand towards further upgrades to your order. Good luck moving forward.

$10K for ED1 is good. I know some being sold for $50k over MSRP. If they agreed with a price already you should NOT pay the $10k over. Contact MBUSA on FB and TW and tell them about your dealer way of doing business.

Yes price gouging. Not only FL..same issue in CA too. Exact same situation for me with $10K over msrp for Ed1. It’s MB of Monterey. I pulled my deposit off to not give the, business and went with another one in the SF Bay Area. It’s covered in other thread of this forum.
