Talking Deleted Brush Guard, Added Wheel Spacers and some other goodies
Next round of mods finished up. Had the windows tinted (15% two front side windows to match privacy glass, 50% front window).

I already had the Nitto tires on from day 2 of ownership. I wanted to give the truck an ever wider footprint so I opted for H&R 31mm DRA spacers. I also deleted the brush guard with a kit I found on eBay. The kit fit nicely and was only 99 bucks.

Anyway, on to the pics.

Looks good man. Tastefully done. I've never seen a red G in my area. We have black, grey, green, yellow...but never a red. Happy motoring.

Honestly, I would say that the increase increase in handling is more than "slightly". It feels substantially more "planted" in almost every situation now.

very clever!

I was told the fender is wider/bigger on the G63 vs G550, but they look the same to me...any input? I'm trying to buy the 31mm H&R, but was told that it may stick out too much because of this. I dont think so...

It appears they have the same center bore and bolt pattern so they would theoretically fit. The real question is what size or thickness does it need. That I can’t answer for you without seeing one.

I didn’t throw it away or anything...I just prefer it with no BB. My plans are to incorporate a winch at some point up front.

The later G550s (and G350ds for that matter) came with the wider G63 fenders, I think starting model year 2016 when MB switched to the 4.0l bi turbo v8 for the G550

I just put The Nitto 285s on my 2019 g550. If I turn the wheel hard over the clearance is tight (1 inch). Will the wheel spacers helper hurt?
