Changing out 18" wheels to something different on 2015 G550

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking about changing out my wheels (after screwing up my tire replacement and doing RWL) to something stock but different. Can you post a picture of your wheels on your Gwag and tell me what size it is?

Thanks. Here's my boring wheel.

I'd go with the OEM optional 19" wheels in black or silver. I think they match the vehicle well.

Thanks pdeacon!

Does anyone know if the new 2019 G550 and/or G63 wheels will fit on the older models (2018 and older)?

I like @pdeacon recommendation - the 19" wheels do look good, I have them standard on the US model '18 G550

. Not crazy about them at first but they have grown on me.

Personally I want to get the ET43 16" closed tear ashtaroth wheels with either BFG KO2s or the OE Goodyear Wranglers. I'm going after the G350d Professional look

Is this a 16" wheel? What years where these produced? What's the model number?

Did they make this wheel in an 18"?

Yes those are 16" wheels on the 2018 G350d. The OE tires are 265/70/16s. The G300 and G280 Pro also came with similar looking wheels and so did the armored G500.

I can't confirm fitment but I found the attached document that shows a set of 16x7.5" wheels and their part numbers. Page 2 shows a table that shows what 16" wheel fits what G model (from the G320 CDI to the various models of G500). The G350d Pro is 463.342 from my google research.

Most of the wheels are ET63 but there is one part number that is ET43, which I assumed are the wheels MB put on the G350d Pro to make the wheels sit flush with the fender flares since the G350d Pro seems to have the wider AMG fender flares - all speculation here!

Here's the part # for the 16x7.5" ET43 wheel A 463 401 23 00 - about $1000 a piece but you can get 15% off w. MBCA membership or the dealership's loyalty programs.

The 18" version of this style "Ashtaroth" are basically wheels on the early MBUSA G500. You can probably find those on eBay in nicely refinished conditions, I do like the style.

There are 3 styles: 16" closed tear (the ones on the G350d and the armored G500), 16" open tear and 18" open-tear (The ones on the US model early G500)

I really like those Ashtaroth wheels, and I'll start looking for some in 18" Here's the wheel for the older G500.

If anyone has a set of these, let me know, I'm a buyer!!
