Price thoughts on a new 2018 G63 at a dealer

I hope posting the link isn't breaking any rules but what is a fair price to pay for this 2018 leftover?

Price
I have been offered $12,500 off msrp on left over 2018 g63's on west coast...Now that new 2019 g63 is available ...prices will fall even further...I personally love the color combo of the 2018 you are interested in, but I noticed it did not have diamond stitch interior....from a resale perspective, a large % of g wagon owners seem to prefer that interior...Suggest offering MSRP - $15,000 if this g wagon is your ideal spec...if not ...the market will get flooded with many 2017-2018 g63's in the next 30-90 days with much deeper discounts...I found a loaded 2018 g63 Plat Magno matte with dinamica interior option (very rare on g63) with 4,600 miles for $128,000 about 30 days ago...bottom line...if this is your ideal g63...make an offer and enjoy ..they are great rigs---
Cheers

LOVE the exterior colour. The interior leather, CDH is right, on an AMG is usually most desirable with diamond stitching. Also, several local L.A. dealers told us that for resale and trade in value, a G interior with Black Piano trim or Carbon fiber is best. The wood on this particular G63 you are interested in, is quite polarizing. Some love it. Some hate it (I hate, sorry). Piano Black or Carbon...nobody hates, they just have a preference.
Good Luck. I think you can get more off the price. Before the all new 19 G landed here, Keyes European was offering $14k off ALL G63, 2018, they had in stock...which was like 40 or maybe more!

If an '18 is what you're interested in, there are probably better deals and options out there. You should be able to get 15K off. I got mine in November with a great deal and have no regrets buying vs waiting for a '19. I agree with others in that the interior in this particular model is not the strongest, you should be able to get one with the diamond stitching and a carbon interior at a great price right now. Good luck and let us know.

I would say at least $20-25K OFF
They were selling 15-20K Below the MSRP a few months ago.
Not much people will be interested in it new after 2019 is out.

But, if it is a small dealer that has no '19 Gs in stock, they are not going to be that eager to steeply discount an '18 63.
And I respectfully disagree with you, that no one will be interested in an '18 G63. There are quite a few of us on this forum that purposely went with the 18 model, even though we could have not only afforded it, but waited for a 19 of our choice.
The 19 G is great, but the 18 and older Gs are still incredible!! Both brand new and the last generation have strengths and weaknesses, like all things in life. But...I really think it's wrong to say no one will be interested in a 2018 G63. We bought TWO of them!!

I think getting $20-25k off a brand new 2018 G63 is going to be a hard thing to get! $12-15k is very doable though.

But in regards to the discount, my business partner purchased 17 almost 2 years ago @ $20K OFF the MSRP, so I can imagine how eager the dealer will be discounting them after the 19.

I really like the exterior color but dislike the interior. It could be why this one is sitting around. I may poke around a bit more but I'd like to get 15k off the sticker, I will of course try for more and see what happens. I live in NYC and will legitimately drive 2k / year visiting friends and going to Giants games.

So a G without the diamond seats just don’t sell.
If that’s truly the truck you want you can get a massive discount on it. And that’s simply because of the seats. Makes the whole difference.
And 17’s 18’s and even 16’s are still pulling big money.
Theres an extremely limited supply of the new 2019 G and you will barely see any on the roads for a year or two (at least in Canada) so the 18’s and 17’s will hold very well.
But anything with those seats and not the diamond stitch they’ll give away..
