‘19 G63 engine issues...

Given that it feels like a pretty small group of the thousands sold and hopefully therefore it is an edgecase issue.
Fingers crossed of course :-)

I have a new 2019 AMG G63 with few issues.
1) The fuel tank is indicating it’s an empty, when the tank is full?
2) The oil level indicator shows at the full capacity and it’s indicating to empty out the oil.
3) yellow engine sign is on, however it does not blink, I know that’s a good sign when it’s not blinking.
i am in chicago. Mercedes technicians like to replace parts to find out what works before they even know what the problem is.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
can anyone explain why this is happening to so many G63 2019?
Modern Engines are machined to the point where the break in is in material at this point....especially with cars of this level.

I have previously posted on this thread about the many problems with my 2019 G63. My friend has one as well, and his just stalled on a highway entrance ramp and then this message appeared. There is something wrong with these vehicles.
This time around

That said, my G550 has 8200 km and has not consumed any oil... but the owner’s manual will tell you how much is normal.

+1. The 4.4 NA and turbo burn oil. Your break in sounds more like an Italian tune up.

I’m wondering how many more have encountered engine issues on the new G? I’m getting very worried about the reliability and really hope that MB is addressing the fix and applying to all new ones being built ...

Please provide evidence about the 991.2 GT3 because you b$ too much. And not one or two engines. I need 3 for it to be statistically significant. The 991.2 is a cup engine that can take way more abuse than a road car can give it. It had a higher redline in the cup car too.

Here’s an example of the 991.2 GT3 engine failing. This is why he sold the car.
Then there's Nick Murray, who had not one, but TWO lemon'ed 991s, a 991.1 and a 991.2. Probably worse than an engine failure:
Go and check the forums for more examples - I’m not your secretary. +1 Ignore list

Nick Murray’s car isn’t a GT car and wasn’t broken in at 8k rpm. It had electrical problems which are exceedingly more common in Merc’s than Porsche.
I search the forums and am very active on RL and know the 991.2 engines RARELY fail.
I didn’t mean for you to get butthurt for calling you out on your repeated claims that the 63 engine is the same as the 550. Stop posting bs.

The Finger Follower was a issue on the 991.1 GT3s, if it happens on the 991.2's its not the same thing.
