2019 G63 Left Turn Beep

2019 G63 Left Turn Beep (video added)
The most bizarre thing started today. When turning left (and only left), at say 45 degrees or sharper, my G beeps. The beep is coming from the far back left speaker. Almost sounds like a text message chime. Does it on every left turn!
Any ideas? It’s almost embarrassing to describe - so weird.

I have never heard that sound in any Benz vehicle - very weird. Did you have a device plugged in (like an iphone) or did you have some navigation on? Perhaps it was a prompt in Maps? Weird.

Thanks for the reply. And good thoughts. I originally thought it was a sensor too. I think Ive had my iPhone connected each time but not certain. Will test and report back!

maybe it’s not from the speakers ? Could it be maybe something hitting the suspension ? Or are you 100% certain it’s from the speakers. Mind you I heard your clip and it does almost sound like a text tone

Had a buddy in the truck who agreed, it’s coming from the far back left speaker. I’ll get another video tomorrow .

Alright, this is a bit strange. When you drive again, have someone sit closest to the area (rear driver side) where beep is coming from. If this is easily reproducible, it’s good, so that you can show this to the workshop.
Btw, the engine sounds great !

It sounds like Alexa when she follows a confirms command like "turn off the lights", she makes a tone that sounds exactly like that (Dont think it is, but odd its the same note! Good luck.

probably something minor in the wiring. It’s a hassle, but hey at least the truck has warranty :p. This is by far the strangest case I’ve heard of up to now.

Always found it an odd feature that on left and right turns on the pre-19 Gs the respective lower fog light would illuminate as if to provide some added light. It only ever has served to have people tell me that "one of your fog lights are out" when in fact it is a feature of the car. I wonder if perhaps there is a similar function on the 19s and you're getting a bulb out error/ding on the left turn. Just a random idea.

i have a seat belt issue, my car doesn’t beep. The seat belt is too long and they have to replace it. When a seat belt doesn’t work, it indicates it on the dash in red, and then over 15 mph it starts sounding the alarm regardless of wether you turn or go straight. Mine works after unplugging and replugging the seat belt 3-5 times then it tightens and the icon disappears

Do you have any items sitting on your seats? The seats have pressure sensors to detect occupants. If you have an item on one of the seats then turning maybe shifting the weight causing the sensors to start triggering an unbelted passenger warning. Also could be a faulty sensor in the driver seatbelt. Try making the left turn with your seatbelt unbuckled

Nothing in any of the seats. I just did a little more testing and as crazy as it sounds, the sharper or more aggressive the turn, the louder the beep. Guess I’ll be heading to the dealership. Ugh
