G55 AMG
What does this button do?
Just purchased 2007 G55
there is a button on the dashboard between light switches and steering column
It is a two position switch with a red led illuminated when in down position on the button
What does this do
Not in my manual
Can anyone help me ?

aftermarket.....keep flipping it and look around lol. Or trace the wires.

Previous owner probably had some exterior offroad LED lights that this turned on/off.

Remote radar detector or laser diffuser??? Looks very similar to the switches that came with the early Laser Interceptor units. As others said, trace the wires and you will find the culprit if still connected.
