2015 G550 sport mode
I have a 2015 G550 wagon, bought just 4 months ago, the sport mode “S” versus “E” (economy) does nothing to change the driving experience. I cannot feel anything different in terms of performance, shifting up/down ranges, throttle performance, etc.
Does not seem normal to me, but the dealer says everything is fine. Never had a vehicle (including SUVs) where sport mode did absolutely nothing other than showing “S” in instrument cluster. Is this normal in a 2015 G550? Thanks.

It should feel different, at least it does in the 2018. In S the transmission starts in 1st gear and holds revs higher between shifts. I think it's always been like including the 2015 if I recall.

Thanks - I think I may have to test drive another 2015 g550 to prove to the dealer that something is wrong.
