I know when you have a nearly 3 Ton G, mpg isn’t really a metric to track..but I’m getting terrible single digit mpg and I’m not even pushing too hard (staying <4K rpm) before 1K miles break in period! 9.8mpg over 500 miles!!
That sounds about right to me. Once broken in you may pick up a couple of MPG depending on the type of driving you do (stop and go traffic vs. highway) and your driving style. You are absolutely correct....the G is not a vehicle that you should be evaluating by MPG.
So sorry to see and hear that the all new G is no better with mpg! EVERY G we have had (500, 55, 550 and 63), mileage is dismal (yes, we knew this when buying them over and over again
I don't have a 19, but my 18 is usually around a solid 10mpg.

For the last 3,000 miles in my 2003 G500 I got 15.9 MPG according to the trip computer on my daily commute (which is mostly highway). I was hoping to see some better numbers from the 2019+ G's.
I have a 2020 G 63. I have 4,000 mile and my average is 12.9 MPG. On long trips (300 miles plus) with cruise control set at 85, I've been getting about 14.9 MPG.
