Finally took some pics with my g63(Tri-state buyers Avoid Silver Star Motors in LIC)

Had the car almost a week now, but I want to start this thread by warning whoever is shopping for Mercedes in Tri-state, northeast, please avoid & be aware of Silver Star Motor in Long Island City. I had a signed buyer's order for 2019 G63 sold at MSRP about a year ago in Sept 2018. Right before the car was arriving at Baltimore VPC, the dealership called me and ask for mark up. I end up getting the car at another dealership with much better deal but with same ext/int combo + all carbon option (My original build was with wood trim). Long story short, WDCYC7HJ7KX332473 was the VIN that I was ordered and for sale on their website. Go lowball those guys at Silverstar. If you are looking to order a new one at MSRP and waited a year, forget about this dealership. First time ever experience this sort of treatment even with both party signed legally binding contract. It's a shame that MBUSA could not do anything about it.

Now enjoy some pics.

Matching spec with my speciale

It gets a lot worse when they get a little older and out of the car seats. I have 3 kids, so a lot of experience here. They sneak food in the car when they know they are not allowed to. And they get shoe scuffs in places you never knew their feet could even reach.

I learned my lesson with my Range Rover I just returned, so I ordered seat protectors for my G. Especially important are the ones that go on the back of the front seats, as bad as the back seats can get, the shoe scuffs on the backs of the front seats are the worst.

BTW, Beautiful car! Enjoy!

Sandman - is there a good product set for the G63 you can reco to protect the seats (back of drivers and rear)? I have twin boys and need to cage them in the back real well :-)

WeatherTech makes seat back protectors, as well as a rear seat cover that I am going to be using. Can’t recommend them yet, because I haven’t got them yet, but they look like they should do the trick.

@Sandman3769 Did you get the rear seat and seat back protectors? Would you recommend them? I have 3 year old twin daughters and looking for something to protect the seats.

There are lot of back seat covers that would work, but kids could make a bigger mess.

Yes. They do their job. They take away from the look of the rear seat area of the car, so when I first got them, I kept taking them in and out all the time. That got tedious, so now I just say "F-it" and leave them in, unless I am going out to dinner with another couple in the car. Then I take them out.
