roof spoilers install q

I want to do the brabus style front roof spoiler in CF and the rear one.

The rear one seems easy to install and I don't want to drill anything in the back so I will cover the brake light with 3m gloss vinyl.

The front roof spoiler has LED that I would like to install LEDS, does anyone know the proper way to install/mount the wiring for the front roof spoiler

TIA

I’m doing a Topcar design roof led on my 19 G63 next week. I’ll keep u updated on the wiring thing. Some say required drill thru center of roof, but my guy at body shop will do it thru the black plastic strip on the roof/ A pillar.

Looks good. How are they controlled, and what holes did you end up needing to drill?

I think the topcar design is one of the better ones out there. I had considered getting the roofbar and carbon side trim. Would be really curious to see more details on the install. Do the LEDs throw substantial light or are they mostly cosmetic. Congrats on the install. I received the install guide that shows them drilling the hole and my blood curdled with fear. Love your installers solution here! Did you glue the light bar directly to the roof; or did you install it over a clearbra?

It's a small bodyshop in Brooklyn (Coney Island). I research long time to find this shop that close to me enough and they did several new Gwagons already with roof LED. Their rate is much more competitive comparing to those Big name tuning shop in Tri-state, and those shops would require for drilling. If you want, PM me. I'm happy to refer them to you. Just don't expect big shop, fancy facility tho. I choose them because of their installation and my car wasn't their 1st experiment, lmao

The LED is more towards cosmetic, but I feel brighter than the OEM headlight DRL. Yea, I have that installation guide too, but end up the shop could do it without drilling, bonus. Yes I think they use double side tape and silicone to do it. They said double side they is good enough if you are not using it in extreme weather condition.
