Unfortunate event with my g63 2019

Hey all, posting here sadly because my g63 edition one was smashed into by someone who decided to burn a red light. Vehicle is gone sold... but right now I’m waiting on a 2020, that will apparently be done it’s build in mid October and then apparently arriving mid December. I’m in Canada and due to the EPA hold I had to wait 6 months like everyone else to take delivery of my 2019. Do you guys have any info about 2020 models? Wondering if there’s a long wait again. Apparently I’m first on the allocations list at the dealer, knowing the only get a few every month, I was wondering if they also had to go through this excruciating 6 month wait again

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Hope no-one was injured. If I was going to be involved in an accident I would prefer to be in my G rather than any other type of vehicle. Hope all turns out well. Best of luck getting your replacement.

2013 S550 SOLD / 2016 S63 SOLD / 2017 GLS450 / 2017 G550 4x4 / 2019 G63 E1 SOLD / 2019 S63 COUPE
I'm very sorry to hear that, but as long as everybody is good, the G can always be replaced.
Best of luck with your new one.

Thank you guys, yes no one was injured, quite a miracle. Human life is what matters the most in these types of situations. I just hope now going forward that my delivery date will be met. The last thing I’d need is for the car to be late again. I hope it doesn’t get stuck at EPA, does anyone know here if they will? I’m hoping not because previous model has passed inspection.

i will be posting pictures soon. The car is sturdy and solid, that I can attest. What I’m really concerned about is the arrival times of 2020’s. My dealership is saying I should receive it by December but because I waited 6 months for EPA’s last year I’m a little concerned

I am hoping the EPA hold up was a new 2019 model thing and much faster or non-existent for the 2020. But i know nothing but hope :-)

G63
The hold up, I was told, was due to the new model. happened to my G63 as well as another new to market model I bought. Don’t believe the 2020s would encounter the same delay.
