Thank you!
Wow that’s odd. Sucks a little less now knowing that not all the steering wheel heats up.

Mine should be here tomorrow! We just had a pretty significant snow fall today in Toronto. Can you confirm which tires your G came with? I have the same rims and noticed yours came with Pirellis but I can’t make out if they’re all seasons or summer performance?

I’m getting winter rubber ( Continental ) tomorrow morning and picking it up tomorrow night.
I’m pretty positive they are summer performance.
Whatever it is it’s definitely not suitable for winter.
In Qc by law we have to have winter tires from December 1rst to March 15th but I’ve seen some rough winters in the GTA area and given the price tag of this puppy I’d highly suggest you get yourself a set of winter rubber.

Only two brands make them in the size we need.
Continental and Pirelli. I chose Continental.

the two options you mentioned are the same ones I looked at but I wasn’t sure if the 275 would be an issue and have to much stretch considering the stock tires are 295.

It’ll fit. That’s what the dealer is offering so you’re good with any of those for sure.

nice! We’re both in the same situation. I’m picking up mine tomorrow but it looks like Mother Nature has a different plan! I’ll order the winter tires and probably drive home on the stock tires if they’re all season...can’t wait anymore. We don’t have the winter tire law in Ontario...but I definitely will be switching to winter tires regardless...just don’t want it to further delay delivery lol

Trust me i really wanted to pick it up today but there’s no way i was going anywhere with those tires the way the roads were here.
We’re expecting 20cm overnight so won’t risk it.

Oooo MTLG then I saw your G in the shop in Laval when it was in preparation. I went and try the 2017 G they had on site.
I might go tomorrow Thursday and see if your is still in the front showroom. I’m not far from the dealer

Hey Tony,
Picked it up this evening!
So happy with it!
i know that 17 it’s a nice truck. If I’m not mistaken it’s Matt Black as well.

did you end up getting the tires installed? I was told today that those tires are a problem because they have a load rating of 108 vs the Mercedes tires that are rated at 112 which means the Contis have a lower weight rating...not sure that it’s an actual issue though...I guess the dealer is trying to stay within liability issues.

Thank you!
The dealer will always try to upsell you on a Kit that costs thousands of $$.
If you want to stick to the stock look with the 22’s you only have two choices, the Continental’s or the Pirelli’s.
I personally prefer Continental.
Either way they are both 100% fine for our truck.
