Auxiliary Headlight Mounts
I'm looking at adding a pair of Hella Rallye Compact 4000 LEDs to my 2019 G. They should be mounted at bumper level. Anyone have any pointers towards suitable brackets and how best to fix?
Thanks

I'm having my shop weld a stainless steel tab to the stainless grill guard and then having it powdercoated black to mount a set of Baja Design Lp6's...... highly suggest them over the Hellas if you're looking for amazing light output in a compact package...... I run them on my landcruiser and they are roughly 20k Lumens and throw a nice 5k light a full 3/4 of a mile with a nice spread....
on the LC'er....

another option may be to use BD's clamp mounts ..... I wanted a more secure setup and was planning to powder coat the bar anyhow...

Thanks for all the replies guys. The main problem I have is that EU cars don't have the brush guard (they're illegal here due to pedestrian safety regs) so welding brackets on or circular clamps don't work. I probably need to remove the front bumper and see if there is something solid to bolt onto behind it.
I haven't purchased any lights yet but was looking at the Hellas as they're circular and look OEM alongside the headlights. I already have the Brabus LED roof bars do don't need the huge output but will take look at the BD's.

i didn’t do the wiring myself. i had a mechanic wire it up to a switch under the dashboard (came with the hella wiring harness.) i think the trick was to wire it to the same circuit as the rear cigarette lighter so it would stay on when ignition was off as well. no issues at all with the sensors.
