Indicators in mirrors

Indicators in mirrors

Does anyone know if I will have error messages after disconnecting the indicators in the side mirrors? I am replacing them with manual professional mirrors and trying to determine if I will get an error message.
The truck is a 2005 G500 - w463

Just unplug one and find out !

If you do get a Warning Light - you put a resistance load to replace the mirror load and you're done.

Different strokes for different folks - haven't seen anyone put Truck Mirrors on a G-Wagen - but to each their own !

Thats my next step. Need to take door card off to get to it. Wanted to get the mirrors ordered before i get to that.

Yes sir, you will. And fast blinking. Route load resistors in a safe place away from anything that can melt. Good luck

Is the error only from the lights? Meaning, I only need to put a resistor on the light wires, not the adjuster or heater wires.

I purchased the small 460 / early 463 side indicators and will mount those to the quarter panel. Can I just terminate the wires to the adjustment and heating elements?
