new owner here. couple questions too....

hey guys just wanted to do a quick post. just got a new to me 17 black/black g63. great truck. great forum here too. i do have a few questions... im sure you guys will no better then dealer and i like to do everything myself so here there.
truck has twice thrown "overboost" code. p0234. what should i be looking at?.
catch a wiff of coolant sometimes. any weak spots? ie in my gt3s the coolant lines would pop out here n there so lines were pinned to solve issue.. is there something like that common on these?
2nd last thing. i want to take truck to zero so to speak. diff and transfer case oil recommendation?. or the castrol 75w140 that benz has? transfer case?.
and anything else i should keep a eye on or do?. cheers lee

If you post your VIN, one of us can look up the fluid specs for you, and suggest manufacturers and products. M-B's lubricant specifications are byzantine.

Regarding coolant, if it were my vehicle I would stand in front of it while the engine was running and stare at it for a good long while, looking for drips and bits of steam. Do you smell coolant inside the vehicle, or outside the vehicle?

Regarding the code, best is to read codes with Xentry/DAS, the genuine M-B system. Then go from there.

Double check the 75W-140 spec. This higher viscosity oil is normally recommended only in high temperature climates or for vehicles that are being used for towing. From what I've read, keeping the gear box bearings lubricated is as critical as the gears, and while either the -140 or -85 will keep the gears happy, the lower viscosity -85 penetrates the bearings more effectively in normal conditions. But make sure you adhere to the recommended "GL" rating (either 4 or 5) for the application.
Regarding the antifreeze smell, make sure you're not smelling the washer fluid -- some types have a sweet aroma.
