When I see one that's overland modified, which has become more seldom since leaving LA I def give a wave.
More times than not here in the PNW its usually a really old couple driving wondering what the hell I've done to my luxury SUV.
Did love coming across defender and other overland guys in Los Angeles though and throwing waves giving props on our builds.

Yes, I do, and usually flash the high beams as well.
Unfortunately, I actually get a response in about one out of six or so meetings. I've gone so far as to pull up next to a couple of other Gs along the way, and don't even get a look.
I also see a LOT more Gs around here of the 2019+ variety since they came out, before that it was a very rare sight to see another one.
Doesn't seem like there's a big comraderie thing going on between G owners in my area.

I thought I was the only one! I usually don't bother in and around NYC since there are so many G's, but if I see an older 460/461, or see one modded for offroad, then I usually give a wave. When I'm out of the city in the burbs, I see them around a lot less so usually give a wave.

Back in the 70's when BMW imported only 2002's and Bavaria's, light flashing was a sacred ritual observed by all. This ended sometime in the early 90's, around the same time my housekeeper arrived one morning driving a 325i.

I always do, even my next door neighbor who also has a G. I also wave at British sports cars too, although they are sometimes hard to see at night with their Lucas lighting.

I usually Acknowledge them, but most of them don't even bother flashing or even looking !!
But if I'm driving the Porsche they all wave all the time and sometimes flash.
